From the end of May 2022, Welsh operator Bella Road Services will join FlixBus’ coach network and begin delivering services from London to Heathrow Airport and Cardiff, as well as a new stop at Newport.
UK coach provider FlixBus has announced its first bus partnership with a Welsh operator ahead of the summer travel season. Bella Road Services, which is based in Pontyclun, has been operating in South Wales since 2016, and will be joining the FlixBus coach network from 27 May 2022.
While FlixBus has offered customers travel to several Welsh destinations since its official launch in the UK in 2021, BRS is the first operator from the country to become a bus partner.
Sergio Alves, CEO of Bella Road Services said: “We are extremely proud to be selected for this partnership with FlixBus. We are taking seriously our responsibility to ensure FlixBus customers get the best coach travel experience possible. We’ve seen what FlixBus has achieved around the globe and are excited to join the network at this early stage to help support the same growth in the UK. Our family run company is growing rapidly thanks to our amazing team. They are the front line of our business, and they have stepped up to help us grow at pace.”

The company will operate FlixBus services from London to Heathrow Airport and Cardiff, as well as a new stop at Newport.
Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK said: “Bella Road Services has quickly established itself as an ambitious and high-quality coach operator, so we’re really excited to develop the partnership as we continue to invest in Wales as a key growth area on the network. With summer just around the corner, and with it increased consumer demand, our strategy to add key partners on our network has been successful as reinforce our intention to become the UK’s leading coach brand. The partnership with BRS marks an important moment, as we position ourselves as a contender in yet another market.”
This is the fourth new bus partner announcement from FlixBus in the last month, as coach operators from across the UK, including Berrys Coaches, Roselyn Coaches and Hearn’s Coaches, have confirmed collaborations with the sustainable travel brand.
