The City of Gold Coast's on-demand transport trial has achieved over 50,000 trips in its first year and is now expanding to Hervey Bay, providing more people with access to a personalised and flexible public transport option.
Kinetic's expansion in South East Tasmania will see it solidify its position as a key transport delivery partner for the Tasmanian government, with its network now including 252 buses and 272 employees.

With the addition of these new vehicles, 20 per cent of Go Bus Transport's fleet is now electric, in line with Kinetic's commitment to fully transitioning its bus fleet to zero emissions by 2035.
In line with Kinetic's commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2035, each new battery electric bus is expected to save approximately 1,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide across its lifespan.
As part of its goal to achieve a 100 per cent electric bus fleet by 2035, Kinetic plans to explore operating zero-emission bus technology in Australia’s remote terrains, such as Western Australia’s resources-rich Pilbara.
The new battery electric buses are among 20 fully electric vehicles that Kinetic is rolling out across the state, as it works to support the Queensland government in electrifying the region's public transport network.
Although Go-Ahead will remain a standalone business, Kinetic's consortium will support the UK-based company's existing team to accelerate the transition of its bus fleet to zero-emission technology.
