Bolt's reckless rider score will assess a rider's behaviour at the end of each ride and will implement a three-step process to promote safer riding habits if the rider falls within the top 2% of reckless riders.
The new partnership will provide Bolt users with access to its scooters and e-bikes via Jelbi's mobility app and will allow them to plan their journeys, while combining micro-mobility services with public transport.
By surveying customers across 17 European markets, the data compiled has shown that millions of car journeys have been avoided as a result of people choosing to use Bolt scooters rather than cars.
Micro-Mobility for Europe aims to use this incident data to inform road safety policies that reduce incident risks for vulnerable road users, such as e-scooter riders, cyclists and pedestrians.
