Following a preliminary agreement announcement in January 2024, the merger of micro-mobility companies TIER and Dott is now complete, with the new company assuming the name TIER-Dott.
By adopting biofuel in place of diesel, Nobina anticipates an 80% reduction in total carbon dioxide emissions in Helsinki in one year alone.
Under the new agreement, Nobina will operate 34 electric buses on behalf of Oulu Regional Transport and further develop public transport throughout the Finnish city.
