Watch Manjit Sooch from AC Transit and Ben Lykins from Swiftly Inc. discuss the importance of streamlined data, as well as how data alignment supports downstream outcomes and how monthly OTP driver reports can offer better support for newer operators.
During Intelligent Transport’s MaaS in North America online summit, Manjit Sooch, Director of Innovation and Technology at AC Transit, and Ben Lykins, Customer Success Manager at Swiftly Inc., participated in a case study that discussed the importance of streamlined data, COVID-19 driver shortages and how enhancing driver happiness leads to driver retention.
Other points discussed during the case study included:
- The AC Transit Technology Suite and how data alignment supports downstream outcomes
- How superintendents can investigate customer and driver complaints by using operator reports – helping to decrease “come see me” meetings
- Monthly OTP driver reports, which help to analyse how drivers are performing and if routes need to be adjusted or if drivers need to be coached – enabling better support for operators who are still ‘learning the ropes’.
