Transdev and Community Transit commit to addressing evolving transportation needs in Snohomish County, further solidifying their 28-year partnership.

Transdev North America has announced that it is delighted to extend its successful and long-term 28-year partnership with Community Transit, serving the Snohomish County community within the Seattle metropolitan area.
This longstanding collaboration has seen Transdev providing crucial operations and maintenance services for Community Transit’s commuter bus and Sound Transit ST Express service, encompassing dispatch and road supervision. The partnership involves the oversight of nearly 200 employees and a fleet of 127 vehicles, including 97 double-decker buses.
Mark Elias, Northwest Regional Vice President, Transdev U.S., expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “It’s exciting to reflect on how our relationship with Community Transit has evolved since it first started in 1996. Our teams will continue to bring their technological and innovative expertise to the table to support Community Transit’s priorities moving forward.”

Over the years, Transdev has focused on delivering safe and reliable services, as well as adapted to meet the changing needs of passengers and the community. Elias added, “We have worked with Community Transit hand-in-hand, adjusting as appropriate to meet the changing needs of our passengers and community. We look forward to leveraging our maintenance and safety experience to regularly add value and enhance the customer experience, benefiting both Community Transit and our passengers for years to come.”
This extended partnership signifies a commitment to continued collaboration, where Transdev’s maintenance and safety expertise will play a crucial role in meeting the evolving transportation needs of the Snohomish County community. As the Seattle metropolitan area continues to grow, Transdev and Community Transit will work to to provided efficient and reliable public transportation services.
