Belle Vue expands partnership with FlixBus UK

Stockport-based coach operator Belle Vue is set to expand its partnership with FlixBus. The collaboration, which had started in April 2023, has proven to be a success, and Belle Vue is now gearing up to enhance its contribution to FlixBus’ network by adding three new vehicles in 2024.

The newly added vehicles will facilitate additional coach services, connecting key cities such as Manchester and York, as well as Birmingham and Leicester. This expansion comes on the heels of the successful cross-country services launched in early 2023, connecting Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne.

Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, expressed enthusiasm about the extended partnership, stating, “Belle Vue has delivered exceptional quality on our network, alongside an entrepreneurial and ambitious approach from Phil and the entire team. The success of the initial collaboration has led Belle Vue to be a key operator in FlixBus’ mission. Belle Vue’s commitment to delivering top-notch services has garnered customer satisfaction and earned it a nomination for the Best Express Coach Service at the UK Bus Awards in late November 2023.Belle Vue’s recent acceptance into the Guild of British Coach Operators further solidifies its position as a significant operator in the industry.

Spring 2024 will see the introduction of three brand new FlixBus-branded Yutong vehicles to Belle Vue’s fleet, signalling the company’s dedication to the expansion of sustainable and affordable travel options across the country.
