FlixBus unveils new partnership with Bouden Coach Travel

FlixBus has announced that passengers can now enjoy new reliable and sustainable coach services, as it partners with Bouden Coach Travel. This collaboration will offer daily travel between Birmingham and London, catering to the increasing demand for convenient transportation options.

From 25 May 2023, Bouden Coach Travel will introduce one of its 59-seater Irizar i6 coaches to the FlixBus network. The coach will be re-branded in the Flix green, creating a distinctive visual identity.

Bouden Coach Travel, initially a minibus company, has expanded over the past decade into corporate coach hire, day trips and event transport. The company’s Transport Manager, Sophie Baugh, highlighted the company’s dedication to creating employment opportunities in Birmingham. She explained: “Diversifying into regular express services is the future of our company, and FlixBus was the perfect fit for us.”

In addition to the Birmingham-London route, FlixBus is also launching new cross-country lines with long-term partner McGill’s, connecting Dundee and Bristol. This expansion includes services from Perth, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham, with Carlisle as a new destination on the network. Furthermore, FlixBus is announcing plans to extend operations to India, introducing the first intercity green lines in early 2024.
