Platform launched to connect mobility providers with essential workers

A platformed called WeAllMove has been launched by Wunder Mobility to connect mobility providers with workers of essential services. The platform has already united major industry players, and aims to create a conversation about the role of mobility during the COVID-19 pandemic. Operators in over 105 cities and 29 countries have made their services available on the platform, and the numbers are said to be growing by the day.

Medical professionals, delivery service employees, grocery store workers and others that leave the safety of their homes each day to ensure that life keeps moving are said to be amongst those who will benefit from the initiative.

The World Economic Forum, Hertz Autovermietung, Allianz Automotive and Voi are all official partners of the platform and it is part of the World Economic Forum’s Global COVID Action Platform.

“We’re incredibly proud to be an official partner of this community and the commitment its members are showing to breaking down barriers,” a statement from Voi read. “Voi is no exception: even as COVID-19 began to spread rapidly and we were forced to reduce the size of our operating zones, we quickly switched our focus to provide workers of essential services with safe, healthy rides to work.”

“We’ve created this tool to help you find mobility solutions for your specific needs. Whether you’re a hospital hoping to provide safe commuting options for your medical workers or a delivery service in need of more vehicles, we want to help. The tool is open to anyone who needs assistance. If you find a suitable solution here, get in touch with us and we’ll connect you to that operator,” the platform’s website read.
