Kapsch CarrierCom presents next generation solutions at InnoTrans 2018

At this year’s international trade fair for transport technology, Kapsch CarrierCom will showcase the next generation of solutions for mission-critical networks.

At booth number 414 in hall 4.1, Kapsch’s Driver’s Cabin offers visitors the possibility to discover next generation applications for improved railway operational efficiency, safety and user experience.

Kapsch CarrierCom is building the bridge to the future of mobile communication for railway operators around the world. At InnoTrans 2018 in Berlin, Germany, the expert for GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications- Railways), presents forward-looking solutions for the next generation of railway communications and technologies for the digital transformation of railway transportation.

Additionally, Kapsch Group company Fluidtime will show its cloud-based service solution for Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)-applications FluidHub. At the Kapsch booth, visitors learn how to plan trips, book transport services and experience the ease of integrating and configuring new services into the FluidHub platform.

Having pioneered the introduction of IP in railway networks, Kapsch CarrierCom evolved its portfolio towards the next generation and additionally meets the needs of today’s railway operators. The solutions presented at InnoTrans include:

  • End-to-end mission critical push-to-talk (MCPTT) based solutions
  • Next generation end user devices which enable non-mission critical application to run in parallel and fully decoupled from mission critical applications
  • Internet of Things (IoT) solutions leveraging a multi-bearer agonistic IoT backoffice
  • Solutions for cyber-security to protect mission-critical networks.

All this is shown in live demonstrations on the Driver’s Cabin at the booth allowing an exciting insights into Kapsch’s innovative solutions.
