The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board of directors has elected Sue S. Bauman as their chair for the coming year.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) serve passengers in Dallas, Texas, and the 12 surrounding cities with modern public transit services and customer facilities tailored to make their trip fast, comfortable and economical.
Its extensive network of DART Light Rail, Trinity Railway Express commuter rail, bus routes and paratransit services moves more than 220,000 passengers per day across its 700-square-mile service area.
Sue S. Bauman was appointed to the board in 2016 after retiring from DART in 2011 as Vice President of Marketing and Communication.
She is presently a member of the adjunct faculty at Richland College.
