FlixBus launches new Manchester coach service to York and Bradford

Travel tech company FlixBus has announced that it has introduced a new coach service connecting Manchester to York and Bradford, which has commenced operations as of 11 April 2024. This expansion aims to enhance travel options within the North of England.

The new route will directly link Manchester’s Shudehill Interchange with York’s Memorial Gardens on Leeman Road, with a stop in Bradford, providing daily service. In addition, the service will offer convenient connections to Leeds’ Kirkgate station, further expanding FlixBus’s reach within the region.

Passengers can anticipate a comfortable travel experience aboard a new 49-seat coach equipped with modern interiors, mobile device charging facilities, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “We’re adding more destinations, allowing passengers to explore the vibrant cities of the north and connecting people in the North of England through our expanding coach network.”

FlixBus in India: Redefining travel convenience and comfort

This new service will be operated by FlixBus‘s partner, Belle Vue, which has recently bolstered its fleet with Yutong vehicles. Belle Vue has already successfully managed FlixBus routes, including services from Manchester Airport to Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham, as well as daily connections between Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.
