We asked the opinions of transport leaders from Europe and the U.S. to find out how public transport is changing, what form it is taking and what the new responsibilities of public and private organisations are likely to be.

In our rountable discussion which explores how public transport will change and adapt in the future, we hear from Doug Kelsey, General Manager, TriMet Portland; Arno Kerkhof, Head of Bus Division, UITP; Tina Morch-Pierre, Assistant Vice President, Payment Systems & Statistical Reporting, Dallas Area Rapid Transit; Simon Reed, Head of Technology and Data, Surface Transport, Transport for London; and Cllr. Liam Robinson, Transport Portfolio Holder, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, who discuss the best ways to ensure the longevity of public transport across the globe.
Together they discuss the biggest challenges facing public transport today and how these challenges must be addressed to ensure that they do not have dire consequences down the line.
