Dehli Division and Ola partner to produce last mile connectivity

Delhi Division, one of the busiest railway divisions of India’s Northern Railway, has announced an exclusive partnership with Ola to facilitate seamless last-mile connectivity.

For this partnership Ola has launched dedicated ‘Ola kiosks’ at five key Dehli Division railway stations offering a solution for last-mile connectivity and improving the overall mobility experience.

Through this partnership, passengers at New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Old Delhi, Sarai Rohilla and Hazrat Nizamuddin stations will now be able to book a cab with the assistance of Ola representatives stationed at the kiosks within the station premises.

Furthermore, Ola Zones have been set up at each station, providing dedicated parking to the cabs and helping to ease the parking and traffic issues at the stations. These zones will work as dedicated pick up/drop off points and will reduce the expected time of arrival of cabs to as low as two minutes.

Pranav Mehta, City Head, Delhi NCR at Ola said: “Over the last year, we have been integrating our smart mobility solutions with key public service utilities to ensure last-mile connectivity, along with building mobility solutions that cater to the diverse needs of consumers. Railway stations form a critical part of the city’s transport ecosystem and our partnership is an important milestone in this direction.”

Passengers will have access to Ola’s best quality hatchbacks and sedans that come with high-rated, experienced drivers. Ola’s app is equipped with an SOS button, live GPS tracking to share ride information, mobile number masking and feedback ratings on ride completion.  All of which enables a consistent experience for users.
