Greyhound launches e-ticketing across North America

New paperless ticket capability expected to streamline the travel and boarding process for drivers and customers across North America…
The largest provider of intercity bus transportation in North America, Greyhound, has debuted the nationwide rollout of its newest mobile feature, e-ticketing.
E-ticketing enables customers to purchase tickets quickly and easily from Greyhound.com and complete the boarding process straight from their mobile devices, increasing the ease and enjoyment of travelling.
“We are thrilled to now offer e-ticketing nationwide, which is the most recent example of what we are doing to make travelling with us smoother and easier as we continue to improve the passenger experience,” said Andy Kaplinsky, Chief Commercial Officer, Greyhound Lines, Inc.
“Customers who choose the e-ticketing option can simply ‘Show and Go’ and be on their way. This offering will be especially beneficial when planning to travel in the holiday and winter season.”
Customers can buy their tickets on Greyhound.com, either via desktop or mobile, and select e-ticket as their delivery method. On the day of travel, customers simply check in from their smartphone starting two hours before their scheduled departure time and the boarding pass will be shown.
When it’s time to board, customers can quickly show the driver their boarding pass, and they’ll be on their way.
“E-ticketing is just one of many steps we’re taking to ensure the travel process is as seamless as possible,” continued Kaplinsky. “We’re looking forward to providing our customers with even more reasons to always choose Greyhound.”
