New Flyer has announced that the Golden Empire Transit District (GET bus) has awarded them with a contract for 24 Xcelsior® compressed natural gas (CNG) forty-foot, heavy-duty transit buses.
The new order from GET bus – mass transportation operator in Bakersfield, California – adds a total of 24 equivalent units to New Flyer‘s backlog and supports aged fleet replacement and the GET bus focus on environmental sustainability.
Commenting on the contract award, Wayne Joseph, President, New Flyer of America said: “We are proud to help advance GET bus in its pursuit of fleet revitalisation and environmental sustainability,”

GET bus investing in North America’s finest
