Corethree the leader in m-ticketing technology, is working with Intalink to provide a highly secure means of buying bus tickets on mobile devices.  The application is unique in that it uses encrypted barcode technology, which not only increases security but also provides Intalink with fine grade real time information on usage.  This will help the network provide an even more efficient service to its customers.

Ashley Murdoch, CEO Corethree says: “By using our unique encrypted barcode technology we are able to provide Intalink with a highly fraud resistant m-ticketing solution.  This marks a great step forward for the way people will purchase bus tickets.  We are based in Watford so it’s a matter of pride for us to work with the local authority and the bus companies in partnership.“

Terry Douris, Cabinet Member for Highways at Hertfordshire County Council, said: “By having one universal app that links with all the bus services in the county’s network we are able to keep Hertfordshire moving smoothly. Using this latest technology means public transport users in Hertfordshire are getting an even better service. ”

The technology is available on Uno buses and will be rolling out to the others in the Intalink partnership network over the coming weeks.
