Lime and Citymapper partner to help people find micromobility services

Electric scooter operator Lime has announced an international partnership with Citymapper that will allow users of the popular transport app to easily locate Lime’s e-bikes and scooters in major cities around the world, including London, San Francisco, Paris and Berlin.

The real-time integration will roll out across 21 major cities this month, including London – where Lime has operated an e-bike scheme for the last two years, delivering more than 2 million rides.  

Lime says the global partnership will create a streamlined user experience to encourage more people out of their cars as they get moving again in cities all over the world. Users will be able to  find Lime e-bikes and scooters on Citymapper’s app, which the scooter provider says will help them get where they need to go in a safe, socially distant and sustainable way.

As part of the partnership, Citymapper’s “Super Duper” Pass in London will now include Lime as its exclusive electric micromobility provider. The pass is aimed at regular commuters, providing users with £10 of Lime ride credits per week – approximately four free rides – to connect them to transport hubs across the UK capital, to which the Super Duper pass gives unlimited use.
