The Women in Bus and Coach Initiative has appointed its first Board of Directors, a diverse group of industry leaders committed to advancing gender diversity in transportation.
In an effort to increase gender inclusivity in the transport sector, First Bus pledges to double its female workforce by 2028 and ensure 40% of senior leadership roles are filled by women.
Recognising the need for greater representation, Go-Ahead is embarking on a mission to significantly increase gender equality by 2035.
The ‘Women in Bus and Coach’ initiative will work to effect real change that will encourage, represent and support more women to work in the industry at every level.
