Steve Pyer, UK Country Manager at Spin, reveals what the future of micromobility might look like after an e-scooter trial in Milton Keynes.
The project aims to solve the issue of where CAVs will go to drop off passengers, how they park between trips to recharge, access storage or be serviced, and to blend the relationship between on and off-street parking to support Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) operators.
This trial, only on specific journeys, aims to help the council understand whether shared ride services could complement MK’s bus network as part of its bus network review later in 2020.
By grouping multiple passengers into one shared vehicle, ViaVan reduces congestion and emissions, providing an eco-friendly transportation alternative.
