First Bus confirms three senior appointments

First Bus has announced three internal appointments for Managing Directors. 

Dervla McKay

The senior appointments include Dervla McKay for Aircoach, Andrew Sherrington for First Cymru and Ian Humphreys for First Manchester.

The most recent is Dervla McKay who took over as Managing Director of Aircoach in May 2018. Since joining First Group in 2005 as a Graduate Trainee, McKay has excelled in operational and management roles within the First Bus South of England businesses, with her more recent position as Head of Operations for First Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire.

Andrew Sherrington

Andrew Sherrington took over the position of the First Cymru Managing Director at the beginning of May 2018 and has a wealth of industry experience, having held managerial positions in depots with Stagecoach and Go-Ahead. He has most recently been Operations Director for First West of England.

Ian Humphreys has recently been promoted to Managing Director for First Manchester, having worked for First Bus for over 20 years, with his most recent position being Commercial Director for First Manchester.
