The Intelligent Transport Conference, run by Intelligent Transport, has been shortlisted for the 2018 Conference Awards in the category of ‘Best Re-vamp or Re-launch’.

Due to the shift in market direction, Intelligent Transport re-launched its established ‘Smart Ticketing & Payments’ and ‘Real-Time Passenger Information’ conferences to become Intelligent Transport Conference, better serving the fast evolving transportation sector.

Intelligent Transport Conference brings the industry together for in-depth sessions on how the latest innovative technology can shape the future of transport, improve air quality, operations, performance and the passenger experience.

In 2017, the conference hosted more than 70 speakers and 300 delegates. This year’s conference is expected to exceed both of these whilst taking place once again at QEII centre in London on 1 – 2 November, featuring plenaries with global experts, panel sessions, debates and case studies.

Organisations including the European Commission, Transport for London and Google are already confirmed to discuss important elements of the transportation sector. The conference has been extended to run over two days, to incorporate all important topics in the industry.

Clare King, Events Director at Intelligent Transport, commented:

The team at Intelligent Transport are delighted to be shortlisted by the Conference Awards for the Best Re-Launch Award for our flagship conference. We are proud to work with such forward thinking, innovative companies and individuals which make up this event.

All that remains now is the award ceremony, which takes place on 29 June 2018 and will see more than 100 nominees compete for 20 coveted awards.
