With local routes being lost and people being left stranded without access to public transport, Campaign for Better Transport are heading out on a Bus Rescue Mission – a tour of the hardest-hit areas to help local campaigners and community groups to save their bus routes.
The Campaign for Better Transport target is £5,000 which will enable them to:
- Make 6 stops in local communities
- Give 6 local campaign workshops
- Fight for 6 local bus routes.
The mission is match-funded so, for every £1 donated, Campaign for Better Transport will be given another £1 by FIT.
