The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) has achieved its highest scores for punctuality and performance in its 26-year history

The DLR continues to deliver to its passengers one of the most reliable and punctual rail services in Britain

Transport for London’s Director of the DLR, Rory O’Neill

The railway which is operated on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) by Serco Docklands, ran 99.67 per cent of its trains on time during the period 5 January to 1 February this year and also operated 99.77 per cent of its scheduled services.

Transport for London’s Director of the DLR, Rory O’Neill said:

‘The DLR continues to deliver to its passengers one of the most reliable and punctual rail services in Britain.

This performance was made possible by a continuous and sustained effort by all staff and we will continue to strive to improve performance even further.’

Serco Docklands Managing Director, Kevin Thomas, said

‘This is a phenomenal result and a true demonstration of our commitment to making every journey matter for DLR’s passengers.’

The performance figures consist of the departure score, which is a measure of how many trains ran, while the reliability score calculates how many of those trains ran on time.
