Stratio works with Keolis Group to implement predictive fleet maintenance and remote diagnostics

For Intelligent Transport, Stratio and Keolis Group provide exclusive insight into the two companies’ successful predictive maintenance project, which has resulted in a wide range of benefits and improved efficiencies for the transport operator.

Predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics have revolutionised vehicle maintenance as we know it.

Predictive maintenance leverages advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, allowing public transport operators to turn vehicle data into actionable intelligence, predict when a component will break, anticipate vehicle breakdowns and eliminate unplanned downtime.

As part of a programme it has named Maintenance 4.0, Keolis Group has chosen Stratio to help to deliver these technologies to its fleets, which may now use the Stratio Platform to digitalise and streamline its maintenance operations”

Remote diagnostics essentially allows engineers to receive accurate diagnostic alerts and make informed decisions on the best approach to resolve the issue, which saves money and resources.

As part of a programme it has named Maintenance 4.0, Keolis Group has chosen Stratio to help to deliver these technologies to its fleets, which may now use the Stratio Platform to digitalise and streamline its maintenance operations.

Additionally, Keolis will be using the Stratio Platform to monitor the health of the batteries of electric buses and predict the vehicles’ real‑world range. As part of its strategy towards improving energy efficiency, the company will also take advantage of Stratio’s ecodriving solution to reduce fuel consumption.
