A team of researchers in Germany have come up with a safety system that could warn drivers of autonomous cars that they will have to take control up to seven seconds in advance.

E-scooters were legalised in Germany in June 2019 and are classified as motorised vehicles, meaning that the same drink-driving laws as cars and other vehicles apply.
