Andrew Highfield

Andrew Highfield started his career on the Transport for London (TfL) graduate scheme before leading operations on the London Underground (Tube) and bus network. This included management of Tube stations and service during the 2012 Olympics and leading bus command and control operations during significant events, ensuring daily reliability.

Andrew now leads on Integrated Transport for Hertfordshire County Council, delivering a Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) for the region and overseeing the wider public transport network, school transport and dial-a-ride functions. Andrew has led bids to central government for bus improvements, zero emission buses and demand responsive transport.
