Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA)

Founded in 1970, TAITRA is Taiwan’s leading non-profit trade promotion organisation. Headquartered in Taipei, TAITRA has a team of 1,300 specialists and operates 5 local offices in Taiwan and 63 branches worldwide.

The Taiwan Excellence Award was created by the Taiwan Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) and TAITRA in 1992, with the aim of cultivating Taiwanese companies. Today, the Taiwan Excellence Award is the highest accolade for Taiwanese products. The Taiwan Excellence symbol embodies Taiwan’s rise to the global ranks of quality manufacturers in terms of innovation, design and manufacturing, and represents the gold standard for Taiwanese products to compete on the global stage.

TAITRA is the organiser of AMPA 3-in-1 (Taipei AMPA, Autotronics Taipei and Motorcycle Taiwan), scheduled to run from 21-24 October 2020 in Taipei, Taiwan. AMPA is the second largest show for auto & motorcycle parts in Asia. TAITRA offers a free preregistration service and a limited number of travel subsidies for buyers.
