Miami-Dade County, with its 5,500 miles of public roads, airspace and maritime channels, is said to provide a complex and variegated mobility testing geography, representative of different kinds of urban geographies throughout the United States and beyond.
The on-demand ride option will provide a service along a selection of route alignments between midnight and 5am for those making essential trips during the U.S. COVID-19 epidemic.
Among large metropolitan areas in the U.S., Greater Miami ranks twelfth in terms of worst traffic in the nation – traffic which is estimated to cost the metro region approximately $4 billion in lost economic output annually.
