The 20 zero-emission hydrogen fuel-cell double decker buses have been hailed as a key step towards tackling the city’s poor air quality and achieving the council’s net zero carbon target.

Green parking spaces, charge points at supermarkets and tourist sites, and batteries that charge in six minutes could all form part of the Government’s plans to accelerate EV uptake.
The project will redistribute energy generated by buses not in use and provide services for the national grid, regional distribution network operators, bus operators and transport authorities.
