Mr. Haveland is a serial entrepreneur with background from commercialization and innovation. Though he is quite new to the light rail industry, he represents a view where efficient mass transit is the backbone of almost all MaaS initiatives. Mr. Haveland is providing an fully commercial view to light rail and has established operational KPIs to reduce cost, increase punctuality and regularity as well as enhanced customer satisfaction. Mr. Haveland is an eager proponent of making the Bergen Light Rail one of the first driverless light rail systems in Europe, and believes the autonomous tram will both reduce OPEX, be safer, provide a better customer experience for the passengers and make room for better partnership with companies focusing on first/last mile.
