Robin Totten

Head Strategic Planning & Business Change, Translink

Robin is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Project Professional with 30 years’ experience working in highways and transportation. Most of that time has been spent in the areas of highways and land use planning in the Northern Ireland Civil Service. In 2010 Robin took on a new role as Programme Manager for the Belfast Rapid Transit (BRT) Programme and the Strategic Park & Ride Programme for Northern Ireland. In this role, amongst other things, he developed the business case and outline design for the BRT Glider system. After overseeing delivery of a significant part of the BRT road infrastructure, Robin moved to Translink in 2016 to oversee the introduction of the new flagship £90m BRT Glider service. He is currently overseeing strategic planning and business change within Translink.
