James Nettleton is a Principal at InMotion Ventures, investing in early stage companies disrupting the transport and mobility markets.
InMotion Ventures is Jaguar Land Rover’s Venture Capital fund. The fund typically backs companies from Seed stage through to Series B, with cheque sizes ranging from £500k to £5m.
James has a particular interest in consumer transportation brands. Deals he has led whilst at InMotion Ventures include Voyage (an autonomous taxi company focused on closed communities), Zeelo (a marketplace for coach transportation) and ByMiles (the UK’s first pay-per-mile auto insurance company).
Prior to InMotion James founded and led the UK’s first hardware start-up accelerator, Central Research Labs.
