Representing AVIXA™ and Managing Director of Acquire Digital, Neil Farr has been involved in the multimodal transportation industry since 1997. He has been heavily involved in designing and developing software specifically for the management of multimedia content on digital signage, touch screens and interactive kiosks. AVIXA, the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association, is the global trade association representing the audiovisual industry, producer of InfoComm tradeshows around the world and co-owner of Integrated Systems Europe. Neil is involved in the association’s program to showcase the ways organisations are leveraging audiovisual technologies to elevate customer experiences and build their brands.
Audiovisual (AV) technology has long been an important part of delivering a positive travel experience—from wayfinding, to digital signage, to journey information displays. Today, its importance is growing, as AV solutions become more experiential and immersive, and transportation centres find new and innovative uses for them.
