Miguel Luís

Miguel is an Assistant Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações, Aveiro, Portugal since February 2017. Currently he is involved in several national and European research projects investigating new solutions for mobile networks in multi-technology environments, vehicle-to-vehicle communication, context-aware networks and novel addressing paradigms for the Internet. Miguel is the co-coordinator of the MobiWise project, aiming to build a 5G platform filled with sensors, people and vehicles, to improve mobility in the cities, both for commuters and for tourists, and is the coordinator of the InfoCent-IoT project that will investigate, through real testbeds, the performance of information centric network architectures over mobile IoT networks. Miguel received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal, in 2009 and 2015, respectively.
