Measures to counter transit-based attacks include extensive CCTV cameras, alarms and other mechanisms for passengers to report potential threats, and public awareness campaigns. This session looks at the terrorist threat to the London transit system and the response to incidents, as well as focus on improvements in transit communications since 7/7. It will also provide an update on security and the challenges faced and to provide an insight into further possible reforms.
