ITSO is well established for concessionary journeys using smartcards and there are successful commercial schemes too but ‘ITSO on mobile’ will be a step change in allowing public transport operators to target commercial passengers. This session will focus on why (or indeed whether) this is a better proposition than other mobile solutions around bar codes and QR codes.
